Nick was raised in Northern California and moved to Los Angeles as a teenager to pursue a career as an actor, writer, and comedian. In his mid-twenties he decided he needed find another way to contribute to the world on a greater scale. He needed to be of service to the planet and the people on it.

After moving to Massachusetts in 2010, he received an A.S. in Criminal Justice from Massasoit Community College, followed by a B.A. in English, with a focus on writing and communications, from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Nick received his Juris Doctor degree from UMass School of Law, the Commonwealth's only public law school.
